Several plaintiffs' attorneys in Transvaginal Mesh
litigation have entered into a settlement agreement in principle with Endo
Pharmaceuticals and American Medical Systems for approximately $830 million.
The resolution, reported by multiple news sources on April 29, 2014, reconciles
roughly 20,000 claims against the companies and is estimated to produce an
average award per plaintiff of $40,000.
